ADRIEN COTONAT

Adrien Cotonat is a French-Senegalese director and producer. He studied film production in France before traveling to Senegal in 2011, where he became the managing director of La Chaîne Sénégalaise.

He directed more than 200 social and cultural reports for France Télévisions. In 2023, he directed his first feature-length documentary, Jigeen Ni, la voie des femmes, co-produced by Canal+ Afrique, which met with success at festivals and won several awards.

Multiple documentary projects followed in Senegal, France and the United States. In 2025, he founded Les Films Flamingo to produce both his own projects and those of other directors who inspire him.
